Alsumaria brings you the best of comedy

Keen on bringing laughter to Iraqis homes and drawing a smile on their faces, Alsumaria presents a Syrian comedy series called “Ayam Al Waldani” every Monday at 10 pm Baghdad time.
Duraid Laham makes a new appearance in this new comedy series that talks about some old men who fall in love and start acting boyishly again.
“Ayam Al Waldana” marked an echoing success as it won five prizes in Arab Media Cairo Festival. The prizes included mainly the prize of best comedy series, best Director for Maa’mun Al Buni, best scenario written by Hakam Al Baba and best actor for Bassem Yakhour.
The series relates the story of an innocent group of men who get caught playing boyish games and get accused of serious terrorist charges.
In prison, the men are forced to confess under threats of torture and beating using different kinds of torment.
Famous actor Duraid Laham stars “Ayam Al Waldana” with the participation of Khaled Taja, Bassem Yakhour, Andre Skaf and Salma Al Masri.
